Education for one, education for all

Stanzin Lhaktso (Case Closed)

Lotus Born Foundation takes great pride in its commitment to supporting education and empowering students. Recently, we extended our helping hand to two students of a Tibetan private ITI who were facing financial hardships in paying their school fees. Lotus Born Foundation shid light on the transformative role in played in the lives of these students. Tibetan Private ITI students who was enrolled in a Mechanic Motor Vehicle study and is still enrolled was funded by our organisation. Stanzin Laktso is the oldest kid in a family and is from a rural area of Ladhak. Along with six addtional children, his mother is the only provider for the family. because of his own dedication and hardwork, he was able to pay for his first year's fees. The money he had worked so hard to obtain, however, was still insufficient to pay for his second year's training contribution. The institution director requested us to support his second year contribution which was around Rs 67,000 (Sixty-Seven Thousand). we are happy to have assisted him and confident that he is a good person who deserve our support. The Private ITI stands as a beacon of hope, offering quality vocational skills to student who may not have access to it otherwise.

Passang Yangkyi  (Case Closed)

One of the Tibetan Private ITI students is supported fianacially by our esteemed organisation. Passang yangkyi hails from a rough, outlying region of Ladkha. With the limited livestock they have her parents live a nomadic lifestyle. Passang has the good fortune to complete her education with T.C.V thoughtful support. it was quite challenging for her parents to provide her with financial aid for her educaiton after she enrolled in ITI last year. Her remaining 8 months of traning which would have cost about Rs 36,000 (Thirty-Six Thousand only) are being paid for by the Lotus Born Foundation as financail assistance. We were glad for the chance to help her and were blessed to do so. 

Education enables poor individuals to actively participate in society, engage in civic matters, and excercise their rights. It provides them with the Knowledge and skills necessary to understand their politcal environment, advocate for their needs, and contribute to the development and progress of their communities. Education has the potential to break the cycle of poverty not just on an individual level but also at a systemic level. By investing in education for poor people, societies can develop a skilled workforce, promote economic growth, reduce income inequality, and uplift the standard of living for the entire community.

The Tibetan Private ITI stand as a beacon of hope, offering quality vocational skills who may not have access to ot otherwise. However, the cost of education often becomes an insurmountable hurdle for families grapping with financial difficulties. The two students in question were bright and motivated, but their dreams were jeopardized due to their families' inablity to afford the school fees. Recornizing the importance of skills and the potential these students sheld, Lotus Born Foundation decided to step in and provide financial aid. Our team members thoroughly assessed their situation and conducted interviews to evaluate their commitment to skills. Once convinced of their dedication and potentail, we swiftly initiated our financial assistance program. The impact of our financial aid was profound on these two students. Firstly, their newfound financial stability relieved them of the constant worry and stress associated with unpaid school fees. This relief translated into improved concentration and increased dedication towards their education. No longer under the shadow of uncertainty, they experienced a renewed sense of hope and motivation 

Providing financial aid to the struggling students of a Tibetan Private ITI eliminating their financial barriers was a significant milestone in our NGO's journey towards empowring skills. By eliminating their financial barriers, we enabled these two students to continue their education uninterreupted, paying the way for a brighter future. Our commitment to supporting students' dreams and aspirations remians steadfast, and we will continue to make a positive impact on society through our initiatives. 

In conclusion, education is of utmost importance for poor people as it offers a pathway to escape poverty, provides access to betterjob opportunities, empowers individuals, improves health outcomes, contributes to poverty reduction, and fosters social and political empowerment. By investing in education for the poor, we can create a more equitable and just society where everyone has a chance to thrive.
